Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Cao Zhongming Meets with Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Seah Kian Peng
On August 20, Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Cao Zhongming met with Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Seah Kian Peng to discuss exchanges between Chinese and Singaporean legislatures.

Ambassador Cao noted the successful parliamentary delegation visit to China led by Speaker Seah in the past June. He said that Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress Zhao Leji and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng respectively had fruitful talk and meeting with the delegation. With its positive outcomes, the visit was a vivid example of the high-level development of China-Singapore relations. The Chinese Embassy stands ready to further promote exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean legislatures, so as to contribute to the sustained development of China-Singapore relations.
Speaker Seah said that he was very pleased to lead a parliamentary delegation to visit China and thanked the hospitality and arrangement of the Chinese side. The Parliament of Singapore will take the visit as a foundation to further strengthen its good exchanges and cooperation with the National People’s Congress of China.
